Nakan Eupseong Folk Village, about 20km west of Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do, is a 67,490 pyeong folk village that preserves government offices during the Joseon Dynasty, including thatched houses and tile houses.

The rectangular wall of Naganeupseong, where more than 100 Korean traditional houses are preserved, is 4 meters high and 1,410 meters long. There are gates connected to the inside of the wall in three places in the east, west and south, so it is equipped with facilities to efficiently defend against enemy attacks.
East Gate and Fortress Wall, the main gate of Nagan Eupseong Folk Village
After purchasing a ticket at the entrance of the East Gate and passing through the East Gate (Nakpungru), the main gate of Naganeupseong, on the left side of the long road, villagers such as thatched-roofed houses, guesthouses, restaurants, and farmhouses keep their rural appearance and are still living, with the main road in between. There are private houses and old government offices used during the Joseon Dynasty.
On the right side of the road is General Lim Gyeong-eop’s monument house, Gaeksa, which was used as a place to entertain envoys who came to the village under the king’s name, and Dongheon, where local officials worked, and on the left of Dongheon, there are government buildings such as Nae-ah, which was a living space for local officials. In addition, there are nine traditional Korean buildings designated as village archives and important national data.

The first store is ox head soup, Dwaejigukbap, Kongnamulgukbap, loach soup, etc., the second store is red bean porridge, kalguksu, and black bean curd stew, and the third store is home-style Korean food, and the fourth store is high-quality Korean food.

In the Nakan Eupseong Folk Village, there are Daejanggeum set where Daejanggeum was filmed, and Oksa, Dongheon, and Water Mill, so it is still a drama filming location where drama fans continue to visit!
The Naganeupseong Folk Village was designated as Historic Site No. 302 in 1983 and was restored and repaired in 1987, right before the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and continues to this day.
