Hello, Tongyeong Chungnyeolsa Temple, located in Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do, is a shrine built in honor of Admiral Yi Sun-shin, who served as a naval commander during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. The shrine was built here because the stage where Yi Sun-sin was active was centered on Hansando Island in Tongyeong. Shinju is enshrined in Chungnyeolsa Temple in Namhae and Chungnyeolsa Temple in Tongyeong.
