Baekje Samgyetang (Gongju City)

Hello, In Gongju City, there are relics from the Baekje period, such as the tomb of King Muryeong, the tomb of King Muryeong, the tomb of King Muryeong in the Ungjin (present-day Gongju) era of Baekje, the Songsan-ri tombs where the tombs of kings and royalty are gathered, and Gongsanseong Fortress of Baekje. About 1km away is the popular summer restaurant in Gongju, Samgyetang.

Baekje Samgyetang is a nutritious samgyetang made with ginseng, jujube, glutinous rice, garlic, and chestnuts stuffed in chicken belly after removing all the intestines of a young chicken.

The restaurant is located in a residential area in downtown Gongju, so it is a bit difficult to find, but how about eating samgyetang here and improving your stamina and enjoying the tour of Baekje history to your heart’s content?

How to go：When you come down from Gongsanseong Fortress, you will see a big road. From there, turn left and walk for about 1km.
