Yangsan City, located about 30 minutes by car to the north of Busan City, is a satellite city in Busan that fosters transportation, education, and culture, centering on Mulgeum New Town currently under construction.
There are many workers commuting from Busan, so as of 2012, the population is 260,000, which is a city with an increasing population every year. There are facilities such as Tongdosa Temple, one of the three major temples in Korea, Yangsan Industrial Complex, Busan National University Yangsan Campus, and Busan Metro Line 2 and Yangsan Line are connected.
