Gyeongju Historic Areas– category –
It is a comprehensive historical district with a long history of Silla for a thousand years and refers to five districts registered as UNESCO World Heritage site in 2000.
There are three locations in Gyeongju Downtown : Wolseong District, Daerungwon District, and Hwangnyongsa District, and Namsan District next to Gyeongbu Expressway and Sanseong District located in Bomun Tourist Complex.
A total of 52 designated cultural properties are included in the Gyeongju Historic Site.
