Gupo, located in the northwest of Busan.
Gupo, located at the interaction point between the longest Nakdonggang River in Korea and Deokcheoncheon Stream, about 6.5km north of Busan, has Busan Subway Line 3 and Gupo Station, a national railway station. In the waiting room outside the opening of Gupo Station on the Nakdonggang River, there is an observatory where you can see the Nakdonggang River at a glance, and a telescope that can be used for free is installed.
There is Gupo Market, a traditional market where merchants from all over the country gather around Deokcheon Station on Subway Line 2 from Gupo Station, and Gupo Noodles, which can be tasted at this market, is famous. There are also Gupo Japanese Fortress built by the Japanese army during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592.
