You can see Korea Maritime University at the entrance of the exhibition hall and beyond the exhibition hall.
It was formed over a long period of time from the beginning to the end of the Neolithic period and is an exhibition hall of shell mounds in Dongsam-dong, which represents the remains of the Neolithic period on the southern coast of Korea. In particular, the Heukyoseok and Seungseokmun earthenware in Kyushu, Japan, were excavated, indicating that exchanges between Korea and Japan took place during the ancient period through the ocean.

Neolithic historic site next to the exhibition hall.
In 1930, it was partially excavated by Shozaburo Yokoyama and Tamijiro Oikawa, and was excavated by Mohr, A., the University of Wisconsin in the United States, from 1963 to 1964. The full-fledged excavation survey was conducted by the National Museum of Korea for three years from 1969 to 1971.
Three major cultural layers have been discovered, including patterned plain earthenware and clay-lined earthenware on the outside of earthenware, comb-pattern earthenware, animal bone-based aggregate, and stoneware. As a result of measuring the carbon age of the excavated charcoal, the historical age was found to be around 4790 BC to 1810 BC.
