Dongnae Halmae Pajeon

Located in the northern part of Busan, it is the only tomb of the ruling class in the old Dongnae Hot Springs, Dongnae-eupseong, and Busan, and there is Dongnae Halmaepajeon, a famous local food restaurant representing Dongnae, the center of administration and defense.

At that time, as popularity among merchants and shoppers at the nearby Dongrae Market increased, it is said that Dongrae Grandma Pajeon became so famous that many people deliberately visit Dongrae for pajeon.

‘Dongrae Halmae Pajeon’ in 1930, which is now designated as a traditional local restaurant in Busan, boasts a thick and soft texture unlike general pajeon. The dough is made with glutinous rice flour instead of regular wheat flour, so beef stock is mixed with it, and in the center of Pajeon, fresh green onions, beef, oysters (only in winter), scallops, and shrimp grown in the vicinity of Busan are put and baked.

In 2007, it was remodeled into a spacious 150-seat restaurant through remodeling work. In the center of the first floor, you can watch Pajeon being grilled through a glass window.
